Large and small companies choose to utilize the services of accounting recruitment firms to find employees even if they already have an in-house human resource staff. Here is a brief look at some of the reasons companies are outsourcing their hunt for potential employees.

Cost
While accounting recruitment firms do charge for their services, often, the cost of hiring an individual through the firm is much less than the cost of paying existing employees to screen potentially huge numbers of applicants. Most recruiting firms charge a set fee based on the candidate actually being hired, rather than an hourly wage. This means that the cost of using the accounting recruitment firm is typically much lower than doing it in-house. Many firms also offer rebates if the candidate should not work out.
Time
Sifting through potentially hundreds of resumes and then conducting interviews is a slow process. Contracting with a recruitment firm to do the leg work for you will save you much time. These firms already have candidates in mind the moment you tell them about the job opportunity. Busy companies have few people that they can possibly dedicate to finding new employees as the search can literally take weeks from start to finish.
Pre-Screened Applicants

By the time the company is ready to conduct interviews, the recruitment firm has already pre-screened the list of applicants and should have already met with them in person. This means that the candidates that show up for the company interview are already going to be fairly good prospects. In addition, if the company needs somebody to start immediately then the recruiter can further narrow the field of prospects by those who may need to give notice at other places of employment.
Confidentiality
There are times when companies don’t want to let other employees know that they are hiring. By contracting with recruitment firms, the fact that they are hiring remains confidential. This way the employer can hire a new individual without having to deal with the possible ramifications of letting the current staff know.
Resources
Accounting recruitment firms are usually better equipped to deal with additional skill and profiling testing of applicants than the hiring companies. This means that these tests and evaluations can be performed by the recruiters and the information can be passed to the hiring company.
Of course, there may be additional reasons for companies to outsource the search for new employees. However, these cover the major ones. While the recruiter is working on behalf of the candidate, they must continue to foster good relations with the hiring companies so that they will continue to be asked to place employees.
